The word ‘Impostor’ comes with many negative feelings, and it’s commonly applied to someone who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others, especially for fraudulent gain.

Once caught out, Impostors are shunned by society, and rarely ever trusted again.

I discuss Impostors Syndrome and how its self-sabotaging characteristics limit us from realizing our inherent identity. I sat down in conversation with Michaela Moodley, a lecturer in psychology, for her insights on what is known as Impostors Syndrome.
